Alexis Scott update: Evidence gathered at party house

The house where Alexis Scott was last seen has been searched by authorities, but what did they find? The latest update in this missing woman's case doesn't come with much information, but it does pave the way for plenty of speculation. Did something happen to the Illinois woman in the "party house" where she was last seen nearly a month ago?

With it closing in on one month since she was last seen, the urgency in finding Alexis Scott is increasing. Detectives combed a property on 125 W. Richmond Ave., in Peoria, in hopes of locating evidence that may lead to the whereabouts of the missing woman. Lt. Mike Boland told media reporters that they were gathering physical, electronic and other evidence from the home, "to get a better sense of where she might be." However, the officer didn't say whether or not they think she may have met foul play in or around the residence.

Any information on what may have been found in the home (if anything) hasn't been addressed by authorities at this time.

While information is sparse in this case, authorities are increasing their efforts in finding out what happened to Alexis. In the meantime, they are asking the public to come forward with any tips or information that might be of use. Alexis Scott is described as a black female, 5'1" and around 140 lbs. If you've seen this woman, please do not hesitate to call the Peoria Police at (309) 673-4521.
