Authorities in Oregon are looking for Katy Roe. The 22-year-old woman vanished around April 17, and over the course of the past week there have been developments that have the missing woman's loved ones concerned. The News Guard reports that an article of clothing belonging to the missing woman has been located -- but what could this mean in the search for her?

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, Katharine "Katy" Roe went missing on April 17 at around 2:00 a.m., while walking home by herself from the Wing Wa restaurant. She has not been seen since, nor has she made any contact with her loved ones since that night. This is leading people to imagine the worst in her disappearance, especially in response to the latest developments in the search for the 22-year-old missing woman.

Authorities in Depoe Bay aren't commenting specifically on the item of clothing that was found, such as what it was. However, it's been reported that the garment was located near the bay's shoreline.

Katy Roe is a petite young woman standing at only 4'9" and approximately 90 lbs. She has long brown hair and has a light complexion. If you know anything about this young woman's disappearance, or if you think you may have seen her or something related to her disappearance, please do not hesitate to contact the authorities in Depoe Bay, Oregon.

So what happened to Katharine "Katy" Roe? With this woman's incredibly petite size, it's easy to imagine that she'd be easy to overpower by a predator with foul play on his or her mind. A fear of possible foul play could also explain the quick response time by authorities, who set off a search for the woman as soon as she was reported missing by her grandmother. On the other hand, clothing found near the shoreline could also indicate that this missing woman somehow ended up in the water. There are far too many possibilities in this case due to the lack of information being released to the public.
